Join the Opening Reception of Debajo del Nogal (Under the Walnut Tree), a solo exhibition featuring Argentinian artist Paola Zakimi, on June 7th from 5 to 7pm at the Imperfecta Gallery in Downtown Oregon City.
Debajo del Nogal invites viewers into an intimate, seasonal world shaped by the quiet rituals of a garden. Filled with leaves, flowers, and small creatures living in harmony, this exhibition reflects on the joy of impermanence and the beauty of renewal. It is a poetic meditation on home, memory, and transformation — where life fades and returns with the rhythm of the earth. This solo show features handcrafted talismans — flowers and magical creatures — that embody the spirit of protection, transformation, and seasonal magic.
The Opening Reception (June 7, 5-7pm) will include live music, snacks and wine by a local winemaker.
