About DOCA

Our Mission

DOCA seeks to build community and cultivate commerce in downtown Oregon City.

About the Association

Downtown Oregon City Association was founded in 2009 as Main Street Oregon City, Inc. It was accredited by the National Main Street Center and received its 501(c)3 charitable status from the IRS in 2011.

Downtown's Brand

Downtown Oregon City is uniquely situated at the base of a bluff alongside the Willamette River. As the first Main Street in Oregon, its small-town feel is unlike any other in the metro region. It is a convenient and relaxed destination offering quality dining, shopping, and entertainment that builds on its long history of industry, innovation, and culture. It is simultaneously the “living room” of Oregon City and a principal part of the Pacific Northwest’s cultural heritage.

    Our Vision

We see Downtown Oregon City as a thriving and vibrant mix of economically viable and unique businesses, activities, restaurants and housing that attracts local residents and visitors and that entices future residents and businesses to relocate into the area.  As the heart and soul of our historic community, downtown connects us with each other, to our rich heritage as the first city of the Oregon Territory and to the larger metropolitan area.
